With Indrani Sen

Food writing at its best requires more than a fine-tuned palate and a good recipe for holiday cookies. Indrani Sen's workshop offers a road map to this increasingly complex—and growing—field, touching on everything from agriculture to environmental justice to wine pairings. She'll introduce the fundamentals of food writing and offer students practical, road-tested advice.

Ours is a visual age and even great writing can only go so far when it comes to food. John Smock will teach you tips and tricks to arrange, light and shoot plated food like a pro. PLEASE BRING THE FOOD, PLATES AND UTENSILS YOU WANT TO PHOTOGRAPH.
